Not long ago, I was in the office editing an infomercial for TV airing while everyone else was on their holiday getaway. “What on earth am I doing burning hours of my time glued on this office chair?”, I asked myself. I could have a digital agency and travel the world as I go!
So, I took action. I moonlight side projects and earned my first 6-figure! The best part, I’m thriving the Work-Life without missing my mom-goals!
With no fund to start an agency, I began freelancing from home. The dining room was my Skype meeting room while the living was my work lounge.
Since then I have provided global clients with digital marketing and content solutions, enabling them to focus on other aspects of their business.
Everything was running smoothly until life took an unexpected route. I became a mom!
Did I stop? No, because my real hustle just began.
Why thriving the Work-Life is so important to me
I was born in Rome to a generation of Overseas Filipinos but grew up in Manila while my parents worked abroad. Growing up without my parental unit led me to pursue my life’s advocacy. And that is to thrive in the Work-Life integrated lifestyle while raising my child.
My daily activities involve working on my projects, analyzing digital marketing data, writing and producing content while I go on spontaneous trips with my toddler.
Thriving the Work-Life has allowed me to see my kid grow into a fun-loving and confident person.
Ultimately, my location-independent lifestyle made it possible to work with clients from different industries all over the world.
