KinderCity, the whimsical play town for all ages

Posted in 2019

Most new parents would agree that by the time their kids could walk indoor playgrounds are on top of their family day out destination. So, when I found out about KinderCity Evia back in 2019, I knew I just had to bring my then toddler, Kerrigan!

Fast forward to the pandemic times, play areas like this was close shut for months. Some were forced to close down permanently, like KidZania, that play place will be forever missed! Now that are things are slowly opening up while COVID cases are going down (at least for now), we as a nation has to adjust with the times. Everyone, I mean the vaccinated ones, will be able to return to the whimsical play town in the city. All you have to do is book your slot and pay your ticket online.

KinderCity is continuing to grow! From a handful of play areas, they now have a total of 10 branches with the NOMO branch in Molino, Taguig and Naga added recently. It tells us that this indoor playground isn’t going anywhere but everywhere. For as long as there’s Vista mall there’s going to be KinderCity, too. The first branch we tried was KinderCity in Sta. Rosa.

We can’t wait to visit more this year!

What compelled me to visit was their dedicated schedule for the younger kids. Toddlers have the morning until the afternoon to play in the whimsical play town. By afternoon and until the mall closes, bigger kids could enjoy the indoor playground.

What to expect inside KinderCity Evia

KinderCity Evia Admission Fee: 1hr for P 300, 3hrs for P 500, Companion pays P 150

KinderCity is a mix of a fantasy and real-life town with a touch of whimsical design. Every nook and corner has incredible toys and plays areas for children. I had fun taking photos and videos of the whole place until I was told I couldn’t use my mirrorless camera anymore. DLSR and mirrorless cameras require permits before you could use it in the play area. But don’t worry, parents and other guests could use mobile phones for taking photos and videos of their kids. Just remember to be mindful in taking pictures in any public place.
